Qualified Dental Assistant

Meet Brittney, she prefers to be called Britt. She has been a proud member of the Latrobe Family Dental team since February 2023, starting on my 21st birthday. Over a year and a half of full-time work later, She has developed a deep passion for the dental field.

She comes from a large family, being the eldest of five siblings. Born in South Australia, she traveled extensively with her mum before settling in Victoria when she was four. Since then, she’s called the Latrobe Valley Gippsland area her home.

She is a fully qualified Dental Assistant with a Certificate III in Dental Nursing from Chisholm Institute, where she studied for 12 months. Her training also includes experience in dental operating theatres at hospitals, which has broadened her skills and knowledge.

Looking ahead, she is eager to expand her expertise by studying dentistry or oral health therapy, with a particular interest in oral surgery. She is excited about the future and the possibilities it holds for her career in the dental field!
